Project Trellis
The County of Humboldt's Project Trellis is a trailblazing support initiative for the county’s cannabis industry. The program was developed on the heels of California’s legalization of cannabis to provide business resources to cannabis businesses who otherwise wouldn’t have access due to federal restrictions.

The Samoa Peninsula Enhanced Infrastructure Financing District (EIFD) is a Special District on the Samoa Peninsula which uses property tax increment to fund infrastructure projects which benefit the EIFD.

Project SOAR
Humboldt County Economic Development Division has partnered with the Humboldt County Department of Aviation to help create a financially independent airport and enhance airport operations. This program will allow the California Redwood Coast - Humboldt County Airport (ACV) to develop new air service routes, obtain new commercial tenants, and develop airport parcels for commercial, industrial, or retail use.

CalForest WRX
California Forest Wildland Restoration for Social, Economic and Environmental Sustainability is an alliance that brings together partners with a shared interest in increasing active forest management on all lands for the purpose of delivering social, economic, and environmental sustainability outcomes by stimulating forest product manufacturing. The alliance, at this time, includes Six Rivers National Forest and Humboldt County and advisory panel.
